Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Kaizentechservice, Flat 607, Elephanta Business Hub, Block A, Dabholi, Near Haridarshan Society, Surat, Gujarat 395004, India ("we", "us"), for your use of the Invoicy app and its related services ("Invoicy"). By downloading or using Invoicy you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Invoicy.
1. Who can use Invoicy
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Invoicy is a business tool. If you use it for a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that company.
2. Your account
Invoicy works without signing up. If you create an account to back up or sync your data, keep your password safe and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Invoicy on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute Invoicy, except as the law expressly allows.
4. Your content and your documents
Everything you enter — your business details, clients, documents, photos and records — remains yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, process and transmit it to provide the features you use, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for:
- the accuracy of the estimates, invoices, receipts and other documents you create and send;
- complying with the tax, invoicing and record-keeping rules that apply to your business, including GST, VAT or sales tax registration and the details your invoices must show;
- having a lawful basis to store your clients' details and to contact them;
- keeping your own copies of records you are legally required to keep.
Invoicy calculates totals, tax and reports from the figures you enter. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice. Check with a qualified adviser before relying on a report for a filing.
5. Taking payments from your clients
Card payments are not available in this version of Invoicy. If they are added and you enable them, payment processing is provided by Stripe under the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which you accept with Stripe directly. Funds move between your clients, Stripe and you; we are not a party to those payments, do not hold your money, and are not responsible for refunds, chargebacks or disputes between you and your clients. Stripe's fees apply.
6. Invoicy Pro subscriptions
- Invoicy is free to use. Invoicy Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store, currently weekly or yearly. The price and length are shown before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. We cannot issue App Store refunds. Unless we say otherwise in the App Store listing, Apple’s standard licensed application end user licence agreement applies to your use of Invoicy together with these terms.
- If we change the price, Apple will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent.
Documents created on the free plan carry a small "Made with Invoicy" line. Invoicy Pro removes it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Invoicy to:
- create false, fraudulent or misleading invoices or receipts;
- send spam or messages your recipients have not agreed to receive;
- break any law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- interfere with, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to Invoicy or its servers;
- upload malicious code.
We may suspend features linked to your account, such as document links, payment links or messaging, if we reasonably believe they are being misused.
8. Availability and changes
Invoicy is designed to work offline, but features that need a connection — sync, document links, payments and messages — depend on the internet and on third-party services and may sometimes be unavailable. We may add, change or remove features. We will give reasonable notice before removing a feature you pay for.
9. Our intellectual property
Invoicy, its design, code and branding belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to use the Invoicy name or logo.
10. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, Invoicy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that Invoicy will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will meet every requirement of your business.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to Invoicy is limited to the amount you paid us for Invoicy in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹5,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms, from documents you send, or from disputes between you and your clients.
13. Ending this agreement
You can stop using Invoicy at any time and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 4, 5 and 10 to 15 continue to apply after this agreement ends.
14. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Invoicy or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it, including product liability claims, claims that Invoicy fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection claims, or claims that Invoicy infringes someone's intellectual property. If Invoicy fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Surat, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live. Before starting proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Invoicy after that means you accept the updated terms.
